Play Foreman for Real (World) Online
Step into the ring as George Foreman, throw punches, dodge hits, and aim for knockouts to claim the championship in this fast-paced boxing game on Sega Genesis.
Foreman for Real came out on the Sega Genesis in 1995, published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was part of that wave of sports games trying to capture the personality of real athletes, in this case George Foreman, during a period when the Genesis was still home to a lot of arcade-style action titles.
You control George Foreman himself, moving him around the ring to trade punches with a series of opponents. The main goal is to win each match, either by knockout or decision, to eventually claim the championship. Signature mechanics include building up a power meter by landing punches, which lets you unleash a more powerful blow, and a block button to mitigate incoming damage. The pacing is fast, matches don't drag on, but the difficulty can spike with later opponents who are quicker and hit harder. It feels straightforward and punchy, like a quick arcade bout you can pick up and play.
