Game Overview

Foreman For Real on the SNES is one of those boxing games that actually makes you think before throwing a punch. It’s not about mashing buttons—you’ve got to time your jabs, watch your stamina, and dodge like you’re really in the ring. The first time I played, I got wrecked in seconds because I just swung wildly. Turns out, George Foreman doesn’t take kindly to reckless brawlers.

The animations are smoother than you’d expect for an old-school boxing sim, and there’s a real sense of impact when you land a clean hook. But what I love is how heavy everything feels—your boxer moves like an actual human, not some floaty arcade character. And yeah, pixelated Foreman glaring at you before the match is weirdly intimidating.

If you’re into sports games with actual depth (or just want to see if you can last a round against the legend), this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when he knocks your block off.
