Game Overview

Fort Apache is one of those old-school Amiga strategy games where you feel like you're moving toy soldiers across a dusty map—except these soldiers actually listen to you (most of the time). You play as a fresh-faced captain trying to keep order at this Wild West fort, which mostly means stopping Apache warriors, bandits, or whoever else decides to cause trouble that day.

The first thing you’ll notice is how simple it looks—units are little more than colored squares with hats—but there’s something satisfying about lining up your cavalry just right before hitting that "end turn" button and watching the chaos unfold. You can dismount riders, reposition riflemen, or just tell everyone to fire at will and hope for the best. Just don’t expect your recruits to be sharpshooters.

It’s not flashy, but there’s a weird charm in seeing your tiny army actually follow orders (or die trying).
