Play Fort Apache Online
Command your cavalry and infantry to defend Fort Apache against waves of attacks, position troops, scout for enemies, and manage resources to survive each onslaught.

Fort Apache came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Impressions. It was one of those early strategy titles that felt right at home on a beige desktop tower, demanding patience and a little imagination from players used to simpler arcade ports or text adventures.
You command a small garrison of U.S. cavalry and infantry stationed at a remote outpost, tasked with defending it against waves of Apache attacks. The game plays out in real time with pauses for orders; you position riflemen along the walls, send scouts to spot enemy movements, and manage limited ammunition. The challenge comes from the AI's tendency to flank and probe weak points in your defenses, often forcing tense last stands. Success depends on careful placement and timing your volleys, making each repelled assault a relief. It feels like balancing on a knife's edge, where one mistake can unravel everything you've built.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
