The controls are simple—no fancy combos, just mash buttons and watch things explode.
What’s cool is how it keeps that couch-co-op energy even when you’re playing solo. You’ll still hear the iconic "Warrior is about to die!" voice lines, which somehow makes getting swarmed by imps feel nostalgic. The levels are bite-sized but packed with hidden switches and secret rooms—I spent way too long bombing random walls just to see what’d happen.
It’s not deep, but that’s the point. Sometimes you just want to turn your brain off and cleave through monsters for 20 minutes. The GBA screen does make it a bit hard to spot health pickups, though.
