Game Overview
Ghost Battle on the Amiga is one of those early Thalion games that feels like it wanted to be the next Shadow of the Beast but ended up being more of a rough-around-the-edges cousin. You play as some poor guy whose girlfriend got snatched (classic setup), and now you're chucking rocks at floating skulls and zombie-looking things across five short but punishing levels.
At first, you’ll wonder why your only weapon is literal rocks—until you stumble on better gear like axes or whatever else the game decides to throw at you. The bosses are where things get interesting, forcing you to figure out their patterns while dodging whatever nightmare fuel they’re spitting at you. It’s got that early Amiga charm, but don’t expect it to go easy on you.
If you’re into retro games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a weird little time capsule.
