Ghost Rider on the Game Boy Advance came out in 2007 from 2K Games. It was part of that wave of licensed games that tried to capture the feel of the movie, and on the GBA, that usually meant a side-scrolling action game. It fit right in with other handheld titles from that time, offering a straightforward, portable experience.
You control Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider, moving through levels filled with demons. Your main goal is to fight your way to the end of each stage, defeating bosses along the way. You use a flaming chain for close combat, whipping enemies and performing combos, and you can also summon your hellcycle for faster travel and to run down foes. The game moves at a quick pace, and the difficulty can spike with some tougher enemy groups. It feels satisfying to clear a screen with a well-timed chain attack.
