Okay, so this is the second Godzilla GBC game based on the late '90s cartoon—you know, the one with the weirdly buff Zilla Jr. It plays like a rail shooter where you're basically just moving Godzilla left and right while he auto-walks through cities, blasting kaiju and military jets. Feels a bit stiff compared to the first game, but smashing buildings never gets old.
You pick between four monsters (Godzilla, of course, plus some others from the show), and each has slightly different attacks. I always went with Godzilla because his atomic breath just feels right, even if the sprites are tiny and kinda blurry. The music’s got that classic GBC chiptune energy, though—lots of dramatic bass notes while you’re stomping through Sydney or New York.
It’s short, kinda repetitive, but weirdly satisfying if you’re into mindless monster rampages. Definitely a "play for 15 minutes between bus rides" kind of game.
