Golden Pyramid on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—just a little dude running around a maze—but then suddenly you're sweating over timing jumps and dodging traps. The pyramid tiles have this weirdly satisfying clink when you step on them, and the music sticks in your head for days. I kept dying to the same rolling boulder like five times before realizing I had to lure it into a pit. Classic '80s puzzle-platformer frustration, but in the best way.

Also, the way the treasure chests explode into coins when you open them? Still weirdly thrilling after all these years. Just don't expect mercy from the scorpions.
