Play Grand Theft Auto Advance Online

Liberty City’s a mess in 2D—you’re dodging bullets, stealing whatever car isn’t on fire, and trying not to get wrecked by those brutal late-game missions. Feels janky at first, but nailing a clean getaway down those tiny streets? Weirdly satisfying.

Game Overview

Grand Theft Auto Advance is one of those weird little time capsules—it’s Liberty City again, but squished down into 2D like the old top-down GTAs. You play as Mike, a guy trying to bail on the mob after one last job… except, of course, everything goes sideways. Now you’re stuck hunting down your best friend’s killer while dodging cops, gangs, and the occasional exploding car.

The controls take some getting used to—driving feels stiff at first, but once you get the hang of weaving through traffic, it clicks. And yeah, you’ve got all the usual GTA chaos: stealing cars, picking up weapons, running over pedestrians (accidentally, I swear). The missions are bite-sized, which works for the GBA, though some of the later ones get brutal. If you miss the old-school GTA vibe or just want to see Liberty City in pixel form, it’s a fun throwback.

Just don’t expect it to play like the 3D games—this one’s all about that classic, chaotic overhead action.
