Gravity came out in 1990 for the Amiga, published by Image Works. Your main goal is to colonize planets by landing on them and deploying structures, all while fending off alien ships that drain your energy if they get too close. The signature mechanics involve careful navigation around gravitational fields, which can either slingshot you forward or trap you in an orbit if you're not paying attention, and managing your limited resources between thrust, weapons, and colonization gear. The pacing is slow and deliberate, demanding patience as you plot courses and conserve energy, making even small victories feel earned. It feels like a tense, lonely journey through a vast and indifferent universe.
