Game Overview

Gravity Force was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection released in 2000, a compilation that brought several older titles together for a new audience. It was a time when simple, physics-based games could capture your attention for hours, and this one fit right in with that no-frills, experimental spirit. You just loaded it up and were immediately thrown into its chaotic world.

You control a small triangular ship adrift in a zero-gravity environment, using thrusters to maneuver and a laser to destroy enemy craft and obstacles. The main objective is simply to survive each wave, clearing the screen of threats while managing your limited fuel and avoiding collisions. The signature mechanics are the realistic momentum (every thrust sends you drifting until you counter it) and the screen wrapping (fly off one edge and you reappear on the opposite side). The pacing is relentless; one mistake sends your ship pinballing into a rock or an enemy shot, often leading to a chain reaction of failures. It feels like trying to stay upright on a sheet of ice while someone is throwing rocks at you.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
