Play Haloween Online
You're Laurie Strode creeping through empty streets, setting traps while Michael's breathing gets louder—mess up the timing and that stabbing noise means game over. The janky NES controls somehow make it even scarier.
Okay, so Halloween on the NES is way more intense than I expected. You're basically Laurie Strode trying not to get murdered by Michael Myers—no fancy weapons, no health packs, just you, a few hiding spots, and that awful feeling when you hear his breathing getting closer. The neighborhoods are weirdly empty, which somehow makes it scarier? Like, where is everyone? Why am I alone with this guy?
You can't fight him head-on, so it's all about setting traps (good luck getting the timing right) and praying you picked the right house to hide in. The music is just... unnerving. And yeah, it's janky in that classic NES way, but that kinda adds to the tension. One wrong move and—yep, there's the stabbing noise. Game over.
If you're into retro horror or just love punishingly hard games, this one's weirdly addictive. Just maybe play it with the lights on.
