Game Overview
Hannibal_DiskD is one of those weird little Amiga games that feels like it was made in someone’s basement—in the best way possible. You’re basically a tiny disk-shaped thing (no explanation given, because why not?) navigating maze-like levels while dodging obstacles and enemies that look like they escaped from a screensaver. The controls are simple, but the later stages get surprisingly tricky—I kept getting stuck in corners because the physics have that slightly janky charm of early '90s indie games.
What really stuck with me was the soundtrack—synthy, repetitive, and weirdly hypnotic. It’s the kind of game you’d play at 2 AM when you’re too tired for anything complicated but still want something with a bit of personality. Not exactly a masterpiece, but definitely memorable.
