Game Overview
This GBA version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a charming little adventure that nails the Hogwarts vibe. You start off running around the castle in that classic top-down view, collecting potion ingredients for Snape (who, unsurprisingly, still acts like you ruined his day just by existing).
The spell system’s simple but satisfying—you’ll flick switches with Flipendo or levitate pumpkins in Herbology, and yeah, you’ll definitely spam those beans for health when Peeves decides to ruin your night stroll. Watch out for those house point deductions though—Filch has a sixth sense for catching you out after curfew.
Quidditch is its own weird little minigame where you’re darting around on a broom trying to catch the Snitch. It’s janky in that nostalgic early-GBA way, but honestly, flying past the towers never gets old. The game’s short, but it’s packed with enough book moments and secret passages to feel like a proper first-year adventure.
