At first glance, it's just another isometric football sim with 51 national teams, but then you notice the little things—like how you can absolutely bulldoze opponents without the ref caring most of the time. Exhibition mode’s fine, but the real fun is the Tournament, where you earn star players by crushing the competition. And these aren’t just cosmetic upgrades—they’re borderline cheating.

There’s the Barger, a hulking brute who shoves everyone out of his way, or the Cheat, who somehow convinces the ref to call fouls that never happened (half the time, anyway). My personal favorite? The Striker 2, whose shots literally catch fire mid-air. The fields play differently too—wet grass kills the bounce, sand makes it unpredictable, and rocky terrain turns every pass into a pinball nightmare. It’s janky, chaotic, and honestly kind of brilliant for a mid-90s soccer game.

Just don’t expect FIFA-level polish. This is the kind of game where you boot it up for a quick match and suddenly realize you’ve been laughing at your own defenders getting launched across the screen for an hour.
