Hebereke's Popoitto came out in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Sunsoft. It was part of that late SNES era when puzzle games were experimenting with colorful, offbeat ideas, and this one definitely stood out with its cast of round, squishy characters from the Hebereke universe.
You control one of four characters, dropping colored blobs from the top of the screen to match three or more of the same color. The main goal is to clear the board before it fills up, either against the clock or another player. Key mechanics include chaining combos for higher scores and using special items that appear to disrupt your opponent or clear your own side. The pace is fast and a little frantic, especially in two-player mode, but it stays manageable for most players. It feels like a cheerful, slightly chaotic race against the rising tide of blobs.
