Play Heracles no Eikou Online
You wake up with amnesia, everyone calls you Heracles, and now you're stuck fighting monsters while a chatty Pegasus follows you around. The gods are no help, so you just keep dying and coming back stronger—Zeus loves the drama.

Heracles no Eikou (or Glory of Heracles if you grew up with the English version) is one of those Game Boy RPGs that somehow slipped under the radar—which is a shame, because it’s way more interesting than your typical dungeon crawler. You wake up with no memory, but everyone keeps calling you Heracles, and honestly, the gods aren’t exactly helpful when you ask questions. So off you go, smashing monsters and figuring out why a talking Pegasus won’t leave you alone.
The combat’s turn-based but snappy, and the dungeons actually make you think—none of that mindless grinding. There’s this weirdly satisfying reincarnation system where dying isn’t always the end, just a chance to come back stronger. And the writing? Surprisingly funny for a Game Boy game. Zeus is a drama queen, the NPCs have opinions, and the whole thing feels like a mashup of old-school Dragon Quest and a really good Greek mythology fanfic. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro RPGs with personality, this one’s a blast.
