HeroQuest - Return of the Witch Lord for the Amiga is that classic dungeon crawler where you and your friends (or just you, if you're feeling brave) dive into dark corridors, fight skeletons, and try not to get ambushed by orcs around every corner. The Witch Lord expansion cranks up the difficulty—more traps, tougher enemies, and way more cursed artifacts than you’d expect. The pixel art still holds up, especially the eerie glow of spell effects in those pitch-black rooms.
If you played the original, this one feels familiar but with just enough new tricks to keep you on your toes. The Amiga version’s sound design is weirdly immersive—those creaking doors and distant monster growls still give me chills. Just don’t get too attached to your first hero. They probably won’t make it.
