HIK 7-in-1 is one of those weird NES multicarts—seven random games slapped together, some barely playable, others weirdly charming. You boot it up and immediately get hit with a menu that looks like it was thrown together in five minutes, no titles, just numbers.

The first game I tried was some kind of bootleg Mario clone where the controls felt like walking on ice. Another was a puzzle game that might’ve been decent if the colors weren’t blinding. The best of the bunch was a simple shooter that at least worked, even if the sprites flickered like crazy.

It’s the kind of cart you mess with for nostalgia or curiosity, not because any of the games are actually good. HIK 7-in-1 feels like digging through a bargain bin and finding exactly what you’d expect.
