Inspector Gadget: Advance Mission came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Light and Shadow and published by Ubi Soft. It was one of those early GBA titles that tried to capture the feel of a cartoon in a portable action game, with bright colors and simple controls aimed at younger players.
You control Inspector Gadget through a series of side-scrolling levels, running, jumping, and using his extendable limbs and other gadgets to overcome obstacles and enemies. The main goal is to stop Dr. Claw by navigating each stage, collecting items, and occasionally solving light environmental puzzles. Gadget can use his spring legs to reach high platforms, his helicopter hat for brief hovering, and his extendable arms to attack enemies or interact with objects.
