International Karate Advanced takes the old-school brawler vibes of the original and cranks it up for the GBA. Instead of just one-on-one fights, you get three fighters going at it in a chaotic free-for-all—way more fun when you’ve got friends to gang up on (or betray).
The roster’s still got those 12 familiar faces, but now you can actually see how good they are with a simple star rating. No more guessing if the ninja’s actually better than the cowboy—though honestly, I still pick the samurai every time.
They kept the classic bonus games, which are a nice break from the main fights, and the practice dojo’s back too. Handy when you realize your button-mashing isn’t cutting it against the AI. It’s basically the karate game you remember, just with a little extra polish.
