Game Overview
Iron Lord is one of those Amiga games that starts with everything going wrong—you come home after who-knows-how-long, and your castle’s a wreck. Worse, some massive army’s on its way to stomp all over your land. But nobody even remembers you, so good luck rallying troops right away.
You’ll spend the first chunk of time wandering villages, trying to prove you’re worth following. There’s jousting, sword fights, and weird little quests—like helping some farmer settle a dispute or winning a drinking contest (seriously). The hand-drawn art gives it this rough medieval vibe, like an old tapestry come to life. Eventually, if you don’t mess up too badly, you’ll scrape together enough loyal fighters to take on that invading horde. Just don’t expect them to stick around if you keep losing tournaments.
