Play Jaki Crush (Japan) Online

Toss magic orbs to smash your opponent's stacked blocks—way more chaotic than it looks, especially when their whole formation comes crashing down. Those squishy block physics and ridiculous '90s animations make every match feel like a party.

Game Overview

Jaki Crush came out in 1992 for the Super Nintendo, developed by Compile. It was one of those puzzle games that showed up in the early SNES library, offering something a little different from the platformers and RPGs that were more common at the time. It didn't get a huge amount of attention, but it had a distinct style and a competitive edge that made it stand out for players looking for a two-player challenge.

You control a small character at the bottom of the screen, throwing magic orbs upward to break colored blocks arranged in formations above. The main goal is to clear your side of the screen before your opponent does, or to cause their block stack to collapse under its own weight. Key mechanics include aiming your shots to strategically remove supporting blocks, causing chain reactions, and managing the rising floor that gradually pushes the blocks downward. The pace is fast, especially in versus mode, and the physics can get delightfully unpredictable. It feels like a tense, silly race against both the clock and a friend.
