Jeopardy 25th Anniversary on NES is basically the classic TV quiz show crammed into an 8-bit cartridge. You play just like the real thing—blurt out questions for those weirdly phrased "answers," bet strategically, and try not to embarrass yourself when you blank on a $200 clue. The computer opponents are either pushovers or weirdly aggressive depending on the difficulty you pick.
Fair warning: the answer input is brutal. You’ve got to nail the exact wording the game expects (miss one letter and it’s wrong), and typing under time pressure with that clunky grid keyboard is its own mini-game. Still, there’s something charming about hearing the tinny NES rendition of the theme song while you fumble through categories like "Potent Potables." It’s best with friends, assuming they’re patient enough to watch you slowly peck out "Who is Genghis Khan?" with the D-pad.
