I picked up Jetsons, The: Cogswell's Caper! for the NES back in 1992. It was developed by Natsume, and it fits right in with the kind of licensed platformers that were common on the system at the time. The game is based on The Jetsons cartoon, and it doesn't try to be anything more than a straightforward action platformer from that era.
You control George Jetson, moving through levels screen by screen. Your main goal is to repair sabotaged machines by touching them, all while avoiding enemies sent by Mr. Cogswell. The gameplay involves a lot of jumping on platforms, avoiding obstacles, and dealing with some tricky enemy patterns. The pacing is fairly methodical; you have to take your time to avoid hazards, and the difficulty can spike in certain areas. It feels like a typical NES challenge, sometimes frustrating but also satisfying when you finally get past a tough section.
