Play Joy Mech Fight (Japan) [En by AlanMidas v20001214] Online
Pick a wacky robot—spring arms, kangaroo punches, UFO drills—and outmaneuver opponents with tight 8-bit controls that reward timing over button mashing. That rock-paper-scissors counter system makes every punch feel earned.

Game Overview
Joy Mech Fight is one of those NES games that makes you wonder why Nintendo never brought it overseas. It’s a fighting game, but instead of Ryu or Guile, you’ve got a bunch of ridiculous robots duking it out—like a kangaroo with boxing gloves or this weird spring guy who stretches halfway across the screen.
The controls are smoother than you’d expect for an 8-bit fighter, and there’s this neat rock-paper-scissors thing where certain moves counter others. I kept losing at first because I’d just button-mash, but once you figure out the timing, it gets way more satisfying. The UFO robot with the drill is my favorite—totally unfair if you spam the right moves.
It never got an official English release, but thanks to fan translations, you can actually understand what’s going on now. The whole thing’s short and weird in the best way, like Nintendo’s rough draft before they made Smash Bros. If you dig retro fighters with personality, this one’s a blast.
