Game Overview

I picked up Kim Possible for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002, a time when licensed games were a real mixed bag. Developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive, it was one of those portable titles you'd grab hoping it captured the spirit of the cartoon. The GBA had a ton of these action-platformers, and this one aimed to stand out by letting you actually be Kim.

You control Kim through a series of missions, each broken into smaller, screen-by-screen areas you navigate. Your main goal is to stop various villains by fighting henchmen, avoiding traps, and hunting for key items to unlock doors. The signature moves are all here: you use her grappling hook to swing across gaps and climb walls, and you perform acrobatic kicks and flips to take out enemies. The pacing is fairly quick, though some sections demand precise platforming that can trip you up. It feels responsive and energetic, like you're directing your own pocket-sized episode of the show.
