Kung Fu Remix is basically the old NES game but with smoother controls and a fresh coat of paint. You’re still that lone martial artist fighting through waves of enemies to rescue your girlfriend, but now the hits feel chunkier and the animations are way less janky.
First thing you’ll notice? The controls are simple but weirdly satisfying—punch with Z, kick with X, and holding shift lets you dash like a maniac. The special moves (1, 2, or 3 keys) are fun to spam, though bosses laugh them off, so don’t get too comfortable. And yeah, you can’t pause during boss fights, which is either brutal or nostalgic, depending on how much you hate surprises.
It’s short, chaotic, and exactly what you’d expect from a classic beat-’em-up remaster. If you ever played the original, this version just feels right.
