So, Sonic RPG Episode 1 Part 1—this was the one that kicked off the whole series back in the Flash days. You start off with Sonic, obviously, but then Tails and Knuckles jump in pretty quick, and suddenly you're running turn-based battles against Robotnik's weird little robot minions. The sprites are chunky and nostalgic, and the writing's got that goofy charm where Robotnik monologues about his "foolproof plan" while you mash through dialogue.
It's simple, but there's something satisfying about stacking speed boosts and watching Sonic zip through enemies before they even get a turn. The music's all MIDI-style bleeps that somehow still slap. And yeah, you know Robotnik's gonna fail—but half the fun is seeing how dramatically he loses.
Definitely a time capsule of early 2000s Flash RPGs, for better or worse.
