Land Before Time, The on GBA is a simple but charming little adventure. You play as Littlefoot, wandering through forests and caves, pushing rocks to solve basic puzzles while avoiding dinosaurs that want to eat you. The pixel art is cute, especially the way the characters move—Littlefoot's little trot is oddly endearing.
It's not deep, but there's something relaxing about it. The music is gentle, and the levels are short enough that you don't get stuck for too long. I remember one part where you have to sneak past a sleeping T-Rex, and the tension was just right for a kids' game.
If you grew up with the movie, it's a nice little nostalgia trip. Otherwise, it's a decent, if basic, platformer for the GBA.
