Leavin' Teramis Disk 1 came out on the Amiga in 1990, developed by Thalion Software and published by Grandslam. It was part of that wave of ambitious, visually polished games that really pushed what the platform could do, especially in terms of detailed graphics and smooth animation. You could tell a lot of care went into the presentation, which stood out even among other releases that year.
You control Nigel, moving through ten levels of top-down shooting action. Your main goal is to survive waves of alien enemies, dodging their attacks while collecting power-ups to upgrade your weapons. Each hit drains your energy, so careful movement is key; you also face a boss at the end of every stage. The pacing is fairly intense, with little downtime between enemy encounters, and the difficulty can be punishing if you're not precise. Playing it feels like a constant test of reflexes and situational awareness.
