Les Manley in Search for the King (Disk 3) is one of those weird, charming Amiga adventures from the early 90s where you type commands like "open door" or "flirt with receptionist" while little pixel characters shuffle around. You play as Les, a total nerd stereotype—glasses, awkward charm, the works—trying to win some Elvis-themed contest to impress a girl. The whole thing feels like someone mashed up a detective story with bad Elvis impersonators and late-80s office humor.
First few minutes? You’ll probably get stuck trying to figure out how to interact with objects because the parser expects very specific phrasing (classic adventure game pain). But there’s something oddly endearing about the janky animations and the fact that your success hinges on convincing people you’re the King’s biggest fan. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—this is pure old-school "save often or suffer" design.
