Game Overview

Liberation - Captive II is one of those classic Amiga games that feels like a dungeon crawler but with a sci-fi twist. You start off in this weird, grid-based world where you control a squad of four characters—each with their own strengths and weaknesses. At first, it’s a bit disorienting, but once you get the hang of moving through corridors and blasting robots, it clicks.

The graphics are solid for the era, with that distinct Amiga vibe—moody lighting, chunky sprites, and a soundtrack that keeps the tension up. The puzzles can be brutal, though. I remember getting stuck for ages trying to figure out how to open certain doors or disable traps. But when you finally crack it, it’s satisfying as hell.

If you’re into old-school tactical RPGs with a cyberpunk edge, this one’s worth digging up.
