Life & Death throws you straight into the chaos of a 90s hospital—no hand-holding, just a stethoscope and a whole lot of pressure. You’re the doctor, and patients roll in with vague complaints like "stomach pain." Poke around their abdomen (they’ll yelp if you hit the wrong spot), order scans, and try not to panic when you realize you might actually have to cut someone open.
The surgery bits are weirdly intense for an Amiga game—one wrong slice and you’re back in medical school getting scolded. It’s got that janky-but-charming vibe where you’ll accidentally kill three patients before figuring out how to properly sterilize a scalpel. Fun fact: a real hematologist helped design it, so the diagnoses aren’t totally made-up nonsense.
Honestly, half the fun is failing spectacularly and learning why your patient didn’t survive that appendectomy. Just don’t expect a relaxing shift at the clinic.
