Game Overview

Liquid Kids (or Mizubaku Daibouken if you're feeling fancy) is this weirdly charming Amiga platformer where you play as Hipopo, a hippo on a mission to rescue his girlfriend and free other hippo buddies. The whole thing feels like someone took a cute cartoon and cranked up the chaos—you're bouncing off moving platforms, watching floors crumble under you, and watering plants that suddenly shoot up like they've been waiting for this moment their whole lives.

Your main weapon? Magic water globes. Toss one at an enemy and they freeze solid—then you can kick them into oblivion. But don't take too long, because they'll thaw out and come right back at you. Every couple levels, there's a boss waiting to wreck your day, and they're not messing around. The whole thing has this playful, slightly unpredictable energy that makes even the frustrating bits weirdly fun.

It's one of those games where you'll find yourself grinning at how ridiculous it all is while also getting way too invested in saving every last hippo.
