Play Liquid Kids Amiga Online
1990 action-platformer where Hipopo uses water globes to freeze enemies and solve puzzles. Features 10+ levels with hazards, moving obstacles, and boss fights every two stages. Released for Amiga.

Liquid Kids came out for the Amiga in 1990, a port of Taito's arcade game. It was one of those bright, cheerful platformers that felt right at home on the system, offering a break from the more serious or sci-fi themed titles common at the time. You control a little duck-like creature named Hipopo, who is on a mission to rescue his kidnapped friends.
You navigate Hipopo through a series of vibrant, multi-tiered levels, using water bubbles as your primary weapon. Throwing a bubble at an enemy encases them in water, temporarily freezing them in place; a second hit pops the bubble and defeats them. The levels are full of environmental puzzles, often requiring you to soak specific objects or enemies to create new platforms or clear a path. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty builds steadily, with boss encounters waiting every few stages. It feels like a clever, slightly chaotic water fight where every splash has a purpose.
