Game Overview

So Lupin Sansei: Pandora no Isan picks up right after Castle of Cagliostro – because apparently Princess Clarisse can't catch a break. She's either been kidnapped or maybe she's pulling one of those classic Lupin-verse fakeouts. Either way, Lupin, Jigen, and Goemon are back on the case, globe-trotting through some surprisingly deadly platforming stages.

Here's the kicker: each character is basically a life. Lose Lupin to a pitfall? Now you're stuck playing as Jigen until he gets sniped by some goon. Goemon's your last resort – dude hits like a truck but good luck getting close enough to use that sword. The gadget system keeps things tense too – balloons save you from falls (once), armor tanks a hit (once), and without them? Instant death. Found myself hoarding those white suitcase power-ups like they were rent money. Lupin's the flexible one with gadgets, Jigen's your shooter, and Goemon... well, let's just say I died a lot trying to make melee work in a game full of bottomless pits.
