M.U.D.S. came out on the Amiga in 1990 from Rainbow Arts and Softgold. It was part of that wave of games that tried to push the hardware with something a bit different, a sports title that was less about the sport and more about the chaos surrounding it. You control a player on a muddy field, and the goal is simple: win the match. You can score goals the normal way, but the real strategy comes from the dirty tricks. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty comes from managing your own team's morale while trying to break the spirit of the other side.
