Game Overview
M.U.D.S. is this weird, chaotic fantasy rugby-ish game where you pick a team of orcs, humans, or other fantasy races and basically brawl your way to victory. The goal? Toss a flailing pterodactyl (yeah, a "Flonk") into the opponent’s basket while everyone punches each other senseless. Matches can end either by scoring or just beating the other team into unconsciousness—which honestly happens way more often than you’d think.
Between matches, you’re dealing with shady loans from goblin bankers, moving your team between towns, and even betting on your own games. It’s like Speedball but with more medieval back-alley deals and way more teeth getting knocked out. The controls take some getting used to, and half the time you’re just button-mashing to survive the scrums, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching your troll linebacker yeet an elf across the field.
Fair warning: the AI cheats like crazy, and the loan sharks will absolutely break your kneecaps if you don’t pay up. Still, it’s one of those games where the jank is part of the charm.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
