Magnetic Soccer (Europe) is one of those weird little Game Boy games that makes you laugh at first—then suddenly you're hooked. The whole pitch has these invisible magnets that yank the ball sideways mid-kick, or sometimes drag your players off course when you least expect it. Scoring feels like dumb luck half the time, but in a good way.
It’s not really soccer—more like pinball with cleats. The controls are simple (d-pad and two buttons), but good luck predicting where anything will go. I kept thinking I had the hang of it, then the ball would curve straight into my own goal. Classic Game Boy jank, but the kind that makes it weirdly charming.
If you’ve ever wanted a sports game where the real opponent is physics (bad physics), this is your jam. The music’s got that tinny early-90s charm too. Just don’t take it seriously.
