Download Metal Masters_Disk1 ROM – Amiga Game
1990 Amiga action game. 1v1 robot battles with ranged/melee combat. Upgrade parts between fights. AI can control your robot. Win by KO or points.
Game Overview
Metal Masters is this weirdly addictive robot brawler on the Amiga where you're constantly tweaking your mechanical fighter between matches. At first, I just button-mashed through fights—until I realized how deep the combat actually is. Close up, you're directing punches like some mad scientist, but back off and suddenly you're cycling through four different weapon systems (one for each limb, because of course).
What got me hooked was the upgrade loop: every hit earns cash, and that cash turns into shiny new parts. But here's the catch—pimp your robot too much, and the next opponent scales to match. Sometimes I'd let the AI take control mid-fight just to see how it handled my Frankenstein creation. Wins feel earned, especially when you barely scrape by before the timer runs out.
It's janky in that classic Amiga way, but there's something satisfying about watching your mismatched robot arms finally sync up after three upgrades.
