Okay, so picture this: you're Michael Jackson in a sparkly jacket, sliding across the screen like you're in the "Smooth Criminal" video, except now you're rescuing kids from kidnappers by... dancing at them? Yeah, it's as weird and amazing as it sounds. One second you're moonwalking past thugs, the next you're transforming into a glowing robot or summoning Bubbles the monkey to help out. The Genesis version feels a little stiff compared to the arcade one, but the sheer absurdity of the premise makes up for it. Also, the soundtrack is just MJ hits crammed into 16-bit—somehow it works.
Honestly, half the fun is seeing how they turned his dance moves into attacks. That spin kick from "Beat It" actually knocks out bad guys. They don't make games like this anymore.
