Okay, so picture this: you're Michael Jackson in a sparkly jacket, moonwalking through neon-lit streets while kids in danger pop up everywhere. You rescue them by—get this—dancing at bad guys until they explode. Yeah, it's as weird and amazing as it sounds.
At first I thought the controls were kinda stiff, but once you get the hang of it, pulling off spin moves and summoning Bubbles the monkey (who just wrecks everything) feels surprisingly good. Oh, and sometimes you transform into this glowing robot version of MJ? No explanation, just pure '90s Sega magic.
The arcade version had smoother graphics, but there's something charming about the Master System's chunky sprites and that tinny soundtrack looping "Smooth Criminal." It’s janky, but in a way that makes you grin the whole time.
