Play Mickey Mania - The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse (Japan) on sega Online
Dodge barrels in black-and-white Steamboat Willie, then suddenly you're racing mine carts or sneaking through a mad scientist's lab—Mickey's ears even flop when he runs. Those auto-scrolling jumps will wreck you, but the cartoon chaos is too good to quit.

Game Overview
Mickey Mania on the Sega Genesis is one of those rare platformers that actually makes you feel like you're inside a cartoon. Right from the start, you're bouncing around in black-and-white Steamboat Willie style, dodging barrels and hopping on musical notes—until suddenly the game shifts eras and everything gets wilder. One minute you're in a mine cart chase, the next you're sneaking past creepy lab equipment in The Mad Doctor level.
The animation is ridiculously smooth for a 16-bit game—Mickey's ears even flop around when he runs. Some of the jumps are deceptively tricky, especially when the screen starts auto-scrolling and you're scrambling to keep up. But even when you die (and you will), it's hard to stay mad because everything just looks so good. The soundtrack's full of those bouncy old-school Disney tunes too, which somehow makes throwing pumpkins at skeletons feel extra charming.
If you grew up with Disney reruns or just appreciate clever retro platformers, this one's a total time capsule. It holds up way better than it has any right to.
