Game Overview

Microbattle is one of those Amiga games that feels like it was designed to kill an afternoon in the best way possible. You control these tiny little tanks—like, seriously tiny—zooming around a maze-like battlefield, blasting enemy bots and dodging their shots. The controls are simple, but the AI actually puts up a decent fight, so you can’t just brute-force your way through.

At first, I thought it was just another basic shooter, but the way the levels twist and turn makes it way more tactical than it looks. You’ll peek around corners, bait enemies into traps, and sometimes just barely scrape by with a sliver of health left. And the sound effects? Classic Amiga bleeps and bloops that somehow never get old.

If you’ve got an Amiga emulator or the real thing lying around, this one’s a solid pick for some quick, chaotic fun.
