MicroProse Formula One Grand Prix on the Amiga was one of those games that made you feel like you were actually in the cockpit—if you could handle the learning curve. Disk 3 was part of the set, and back then, swapping floppies mid-race was just part of the charm. The physics were surprisingly deep for the time, and if you didn’t brake properly before Eau Rouge, you were definitely eating the barriers. The pixelated crowds and low-res scenery somehow added to the immersion. It’s a relic now, but if you’ve got an Amiga kicking around, it’s worth firing up just to remember how sim racing started.
