The MiG-29M here isn’t just a reskin—it’s got proper upgrades like fly-by-wire controls and beefier engines that actually change how it handles. Less wrestling with the stick, more precision flying.
Instead of hopping between isolated missions, you’re thrown into one big campaign where you’re flying for a Soviet-backed UN force in South America. The cool part? You’ve got some real freedom in how you approach objectives—no rigid script forcing you down one path. Screw up a recon run? Adjust. Nail a strike mission? Your logbook tracks it all, so you actually see the consequences (or lack thereof) of your choices.
It’s still very much an Amiga-era sim—don’t expect DCS-level realism—but for its time, the open-ended structure was pretty bold. Just watch out for those mountains when you’re showing off the new engine power.
