Might & Magic III - Isles of Terra on the Amiga is one of those old-school RPGs that feels massive even by today’s standards. You start off with a party of adventurers—knights, sorcerers, the usual suspects—and immediately get thrown into this sprawling world full of cryptic dungeons and weird little towns where everyone talks in riddles. The graphics are charmingly chunky, and the combat’s turn-based but surprisingly snappy once you get the hang of it.

What really sticks with me is how open it feels. You can wander into areas way above your level, get wrecked by some random monster, and then spend the next hour grinding just to get revenge. The disk-swapping is a pain (you’ll be juggling Disk 4 a lot), but if you’ve got the patience, there’s a ton of depth here. Just don’t expect any hand-holding—this is the kind of game where you scribble notes on graph paper to map dungeons.
