Mission Cobra is one of those NES shooters that feels like it flew under the radar—probably because it originally came out as Sidewinder in Australia. You're piloting a helicopter through enemy territory, blasting tanks and dodging fire from all directions. The controls are simple—just move and shoot—but the screen gets chaotic fast when you're swarmed from every angle.
What I like is how the terrain actually matters—some buildings block shots, others can be destroyed, so you're constantly weaving through the wreckage. The music has that classic NES urgency too, all bleeps and bloops pushing you forward. It's not the deepest shooter out there, but it nails that "one more try" feeling when you barely scrape through a level.
