Mitsume Ga Tooru [T-Eng1.01] is an NES platformer based on Osamu Tezuka's manga, where you play as Hosuke Sharaku. The controls feel stiff at first—jumping has this weird delay, and enemies pop up in awkward spots. But once you adjust, there's something oddly satisfying about the rhythm of it.
The art style nails that Tezuka look, with big expressive eyes and exaggerated animations. Some of the platforming sections are brutal though, especially when you're trying to line up jumps while dodging projectiles. The music's decent, but it loops way too quickly.
